Liked: Absolutely loved the carefully and skilfully made breakfast each day, served in beautiful surroundings. Bed and bedding were luxurious, and rooms are so tastefully appointed. The artwork throughout the house is stunning, as are the many fine pieces of furniture and rugs, lamps and the like. A pleasure to be in such an atmosphere.
Disliked: A third-floor room without an elevator is quite a chore when there are mobility limitations. But given the age and historic character of the house this is not easily fixed.

Wonderful experience in St John’s....

Liked: Beautiful turn of the century mansion. Gorgeous wood finishing and staircase. Large rooms and big modern bathroom
Disliked: No elevator up to the 3rd floor

Liked: really pleasant staff - Mary was doing it all herself and was very friendly and informative. Really let us feel the Newfoundland hospitality
