Royalton New York

This hotel is in the perfect location - very close to all of the action, but quiet enough to feel like you've gotten away. The check in process was quick and easy and when speaking to the staff, we casually mentioned that we were in NYC for one night to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Later that evening, we returned to our room to find a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, compliments of Xander and the Royal! What a lovely, considerate, and unexpected surprise. Next time we stay in NY, we will most definitely be staying at the Royal!

The Royalton is comfortable but...

Liked: I enjoyed the quietness and the afternoon staff who were very supportive and offered to make me copies very pleasantly. I liked the Fire place downstairs. The bellmen were very pleasant. The best part was the bathtub! Good WiFi.
Disliked: When I first arrived I was trying to amend my reservations to include an additional bed or two bathrooms so that I could accommodate my daughter and spouse. The attendant was rude and didn’t make me feel welcomed. The air was too cold in the room. No coffee pot or restaurant. The back entrance did not allow you to come back in at night and it had no warning notice. The bathrooms downstairs would not open.

Disliked: Nowhere to purchase food/drink, not even a vending machine. Noisy air conditioning
