Horrific customer service from start...
Liked: Absolutely nothing went well about our stay at the Hilton Royale Palms Condominiums. The lobby is nice, but it is the lobby for the adjoining Hilton hotel and not for the Royale Palms Condominiums.
Disliked: Upon checking in, the hotel staff experienced difficulty locating my reservation. After several minutes, I was informed by the front desk that they had located my reservation, and specifically gave me a hotel room number ending in "H." Within 30 minutes of entering the hotel room, maintenance staff pounded on the door, asked our full names, and informed us that the hotel had checked us into another guest's room, but that we had nothing to worry about. Ten minutes later, I received a phone call on the room phone from a manager, again asking for my full name and telling me they had no record of my reservation. Shortly after that, Manager Russ knocked on our door, asked for our full names, and requested our booking confirmation number. We began to provide it, but he told us he no longer needed it, that we had nothing to worry about, and that we should enjoy the rest of our stay. A short time after his in-person visit, Manager Russ again called our room phone and requested that I come see him at the front desk to provide my confirmation number so he could further elucidate what the problem was. As soon as I arrived at the front desk and hotel staff located Manager Russ, he told me he'd successfully located my reservation and we should enjoy the rest of our night. My credit card statement is currently showing that the hotel has charged me $200 for this one-night stay, despite the fact that I reserved my room through booking.com and paid for the room through booking.com.
