Liked: Enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Royal Ship Hotel. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and seemed to be a happy team. Our room 115 was spacious, clean, cosy and warm and the bed was very comfortable, we slept well, loved to hear the bells chiming from the church nearby. Tea, coffee, fresh milk, bottled water and biscuits were supplied in our room. The restaurant was nice and the pub meals were okay. We managed to get a parking space soon after our arrival. The breakfast menu was very good and had plenty of choices. We will look forward to returning to the Royal Ship Hotel and completing some more lovely walks in the area.
Disliked: Don't think you could improve, everything was great thanks

Good rooms, indifferent staff

Liked: Room well decorated. Beds comfy. Shower didn’t drain properly and window draughty. Dinner was ok did but one waited was very frosty. Really nice cooked breakfast but again service was unwelcoming.

Disliked: Food was OK but could be better.
