Liked: the hotel is in a lovely town with considerable outdoor activities within easy walking distance. Restaurant options in the town are limited. We ate at the hotel beer garden which was fine.
Disliked: the rooms have probably reached the stage where a progressive makeover would be useful.

Liked: Location was beautiful. What a wonderful village. Breakfast was great, a good choice and options. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel was clean.
Disliked: No water in the room although staff did give us a jug of water when asked for.

Liked: A lovely hotel , comfortable / well appointed standard double room . We ate dinner in the Grill Room which was very nice . Breakfast was good. We would definitely come back

Peaceful, idyllic!

Liked: The hotel was clean with a big room and comfy beds - slept like a baby! The hotel staff were welcoming and the food was excellent! The bar outside was very pretty and had a lovely view! The only confusing part was finding our room as it wasn’t clear where we needed to go once we left reception. We had a lovely time and would go back!
