The hotel in general was nice and friendly, but when going towards the room I noticed how old fashioned and dated everything looked, like it needed updating from the carpet to the walls. In the room it was clean and tidy but everything was a little dated - it was like going back to the 70's. Personally I prefer a nice crisp clean look in the rooms but this definitely wasn't the case. I think this could be a really lovely hotel as the location is perfect but it needs a good refit. Considering what we paid for the room I was expecting more.

Liked: Pillow and bed was not comfortable had little sleep. Eggs for breakfast were hard.

Liked: How welcoming the staff were and we were able to have access to all facilities. It was just a Mum and daughter night away. We had the pool to ourselves for over an hour. Plus in the evening we had use of the billiards room all night. My daughter really enjoyed her stay.
Disliked: We didn't have an extra night!

Liked: The main things were very good, including the bed, hot water, shower, towels, etc. The room was very clean and quiet.
Disliked: Nothing really. Really good coffee would be a bonus at breakfast.
