Disliked: No warning signs for the little lagoon/beach in the hotel . My daughter stepped in the swimming area in the little lagoon in the morning before we checked out, and her left foot got sea urchin sting badly and we had to get treated after we returned to the state. She was in extreme pain and couldn’t step out by herself and was carried out by a gentleman sitting there and he told me his daughter got sting the day before at the same place. I wish there was a sign out there to warn people that there are sea urchins in that area.

A convenient waterfront resort

Liked: Restaurant on premises, open throughout the holidays with good quality and delicious food and drinks. Live entertainment. Dining next to crushing waves was my favorite part of the trip! Convenient and cheap laundromat on premises.Very close to a local grocery store and a little mall, good location. Walking distance to waterfront, parks, more dining, shopping, etc.The tidal lagoon was amazing, but beware of sea urchins! Beautiful sunsets.
Disliked: The pools were cold, no hot tub to warm up kids in the morning.No info about events was available on the website or anywhere. I missed ukulele lessons and had to ask reception explicitly to make plans for other events. We tried to make Christmas dinner reservation, only to learn that they have stopped taking them (no deadline communicated).Construction noise during our stay was very loud, even though we were located in a different building.
