Value for money

Liked: It wasn't a bad price but that's probably due to the time of year I stayed. If hotels kept there prices down abit then they would fill their rooms more. But it was well worth it and I'd definitely recommend it and will be going back.
Disliked: The TV didn't move on the wall so you couldn't watch it in bed.

Liked: Price, cheap in good location, all necessary equipment, good size of single room with big bed.
Disliked: Dated decor of room an hotel. Only 2 very small soap bars, rather cold room.

1/2 night stay at royal...

Liked: when travelling to scarb i always like to stay at the royal. good price.nice pleasant staff always helpful.... very comfy. great .paid for extra night after getting upgrade without asking
Disliked: nothing to disllike if you happy to enjoy scarb and area. stayed an extra night cos nice plce to stay. weather freezing

Liked: Ideal location
Disliked: We was put in top floor. We didn’t get a wink of sleep. The room was scorching. Cudnt turn heating down or even open a window. Pillows hard too. Been quite a few times but this time was awful. My partner felt sick it was that hot .

Liked: Clean room location staff was good facilities good lovely Victorian building
Disliked: Room needs many things fixing like bathroom seals and curtains need fixing light bulbs replacing in lamps just general things need maintenance

Liked: Room and facilities very good . Two rooms and bathroom . Great location near sea front and town . Great sea view
Disliked: Very very draughty . Need desperately new windows and doors or secondary glazing . Had to fill gaps in door with paper . Bathroom window horrendous .
