Great place to stay and...

Liked: The hotel was right near the train station for super easy access. There is also a tram station near the hotel for access to the public transportation. Also the hotel smelled like Chartreuse. A local and unforgettable flavor. The breakfast was incredible. One of the best in France.
Disliked: My room just had a view of the alley. There are many beautiful scenes to be scened in Grenoble and my room did not have one.

Liked: Characterful art deco hotel in a perfect spot with helpful friendly staff and an amazing breakfast spread, available from early, with high quality local well-selected ingredients. Clean, comfortable room. Complementary snacks and hot/cold drinks plus fruit and cake available all day in the lobby. 11/10!
Disliked: Straining to think of anything that could be improved - all I can think of is a decaf coffee option!
