Disliked: Soooo noisy. Sound of water constantly running through pipes in wall, and something buzzed and vibrated very loudly approximately every half hour all night. Hardly slept

Disliked: The beds are on rollers so you can't sit up in bed. Your bed rolls away from the wall

Lovely staff and great location,...

Liked: 1. The staff are friendly and kind. The other day we wanted to visit Victoria Market but the staff told us it was Australia Day and it was closed. She was reallly helpful. 2. There was a public area where people can meet, which also provides a microwave oven, a dishwasher, and some coffee for free. Unlucky, we didn't have a chance to meet other people, they look quite busy. 3. The location is perfect. Train station and bus station are just around. Coles is ten minutes to walk.
Disliked: The bed, however, is a bit narrow. It is moveable, with wheels at the bottom, so the bed moves occasionally.

Reliable but unclean this time.

Liked: The location is good as always. Easier to get into Melbourne via the train across the road. The beds are still very comfortable and the tv access in the rooms is great. The common area with the table is convenient for having dinner on and for watching the Tennis while we did so!
Disliked: We had ants in our room when we woke up the first morning and the staff didn't seem fazed when we informed them.

Disliked: Room size could have been a big bigger. Staff need more communication between them and to be less rude to the people coming to stay.

Exceptional

Liked: Great location, nice renovated pub. With free parking in the back. Caught the train to city,station right opp hotel. Meals, staff and decor did thier best to please. Modern clean fully equipped rooms. Sharded bathrooms also modern and user friendly. Free coffee, tea and food servery upstairs. Has a lift to your 1st floor room. I found the place cosy, modern funky decor with everything the busy traveller would expect. I will stay here again, a short drive from Essendon.
Disliked: There wasnt a late check out.
