Liked: The hotel is located a very short walk to Waikiki Beach. There are several restaurants located nearby. Good water pressure in the shower.
Disliked: We had to walk down a dark, narrow passageway to reach the elevator/stairs. Our room was very small (our cruise ship cabin was larger!). The bed was small (barely double) and uncomfortable to sleep on. There was ZERO soundproofing to the outdoors. The louvered windows allowed every sound from the street inside. Traffic, pedestrians, etc all sounded like they were in the room with us. Noisy until about 3 am then blissfully quiet until about 5 am. The television didn't work properly and 'maintenance' couldn't fix it during the 15 minutes he was in our room.

Excellent location, but the hotel...

Liked: We liked the location. The hotel is located two short blocks from the beach, and there's a lot of restaurants and shops close by. The staff was very nice, except for one of the ladies. The shampoo and soap are good. There's so much to do around here, that one doesn't really need to stay in the room.
Disliked: The appearance of the hotel and the size of the room. The hotel is outdated.

Very good value for money

Liked: Manuel was super friendly and helped us with every request we had. The room was a good size and very clean. Since we got an upgrade, we even had a kitchen, which we liked a lot. The location is super central and only a few meters to the beach. There are free beach towels. The equipment is somewhat dated, but for the price you can't ask for more. We were very satisfied and pleasantly surprised.
Disliked: The smell in the room was a bit strange, but after we opened the windows it was better.
