Staff was very polite. Food was very good and tasty. The Executive Chef is very friendly and certainly has a handle on what's going on in the kitchen. Will definitely visit again.

Comfortable family hotel

Liked: The fireplace in the room was a nice touch, as was the hot chocolate in the lobby in the afternoon. I liked that there were 2 sinks in the room. The pool was warm enough for little ones and had a lovely decor. It felt like being in an underground cave. We were able to easily walk to the main area of town, although there were lots of restaurants close to the hotel as well as in the hotel.
Disliked: I didn't know when I booked that there was an extra fee for parking on site.

Liked: The room was spacious, the hot tub and pool had a nice ambiance. The hot chocolate in the lobby was the best hot chocolate we ever had. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful.
Disliked: That I had to pay for parking.

Liked: Lovely lodge with great character, friendly attentive staff always happy to help.Location was in the centre of town.stayed over Christmas for 3 nights would highly recommend

Disliked: Hotel is outdated, breakfast buffet did not have many options (20$ per person (child/adult)), definitely better to go to a different place to have a nice meal for the same price. Rooms are small, stained ceiling, pool had no towels. For a 4 star hotel in Canada would definitely expect more.
