We had an amazing experience...
Liked: Beautiful hotel on lovely grounds. All the staff were so courteous and helpful we felt genuinely cared for. Our room was really lovely, comfortable and spotless.
Disliked: Liked everything.

Disliked: 17% service charge added to our breakfast bill.No dressing gowns in rooms

Exceptional
Liked: Very clean, staff exceptional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar area was really cosy with fires lit. Incredibly accommodating with our daughter’s dog. Afternoon coffee great. Dog treats too. We will certainly be back.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, made...
Liked: It’s a lovely setting, beautiful cosy family room perfect for our 1 night stay. Large bathroom, practical with kids. Breakfast room was nice, and the breakfast had all the expected. They did have GF bread and toasted separately for my daughter. She wasn’t glutened so that is positive! Allergens were clearly marked.

Great hotel and location for...
Liked: Property and room was great
Disliked: Meal at the restaurant was tasty but the dessert was very disappointing, £12 for the pavalova which was essentially once meringue nest from Tesco and a couple berries wasn’t what I was expecting. But the restaurant staff did remove it from the the bill. Staff were great and food was tasty otherwise

Overall, it was a great...
Liked: The photos didn't do the justice of how picturesque the hotel was, especially fully decorated for Christmas. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the location was great - very quiet area. The fireplace in the shared place added cosiness and homelike feel. Will definitely come back!
Disliked: The shower could have had a removable head, and walls could have been more soundproof - we were able to hear next-door neighbours. Unfortunately, food at the restaurant Fork wasn't to our liking, so we wouldn't recommend dining there.
