Liked: I have been visiting this hotel for the past four years and I always appreciate the service provided here.
Disliked: The restaurant is currently closed for renovations, but everything else was good.

Disliked: Couldn’t find hotel. It has changed name to garden hotel. Staff were not helpful. Room was poor. No restaurant was closed

Don't go.

Liked: Room was good size and clean.
Disliked: Lots of little things, Plug in the remodeled bathroom tub didn't fit, had to use a washcloth to plug hole. Baseboard under armoire was missing. Cover on new A/C unit was broken. No clean towels or housekeeping unless we ask in the morning. Pool towels were locked up and had to be signed out. Iguanas at the pool were disgusting. Animal feces on pool deck. None of the staff would say where the designated smoking section was even though I specifically ask many times. The response was repeatedly that there was a $250 fine. Signage was almost non-existent. I knew they were doing remodeling, but the exterior was a disaster area. They haven't done any gardening, even weed kill for a long time. Weeds were a foot high. 2 of the entrances were roped off and sign said they were painting the roof, but they were only doing that out front one of the 6 days I was there. I noticed the sign on the building has a new name, not the Palace. Cleaning ladies never made an attempt to get out of the way so I could pass on the narrow walkway, no apologies. Sad place. I went for the pool and the sun. Wasn't able to use the pool since it was so disgusting.
