Liked: A warm welcome from the staff and a very comfortable bed. Excellent location for the County cricket ground and a reasonable walk into town.

Excellent location and good rooms

Liked: An excellent hotel. Location is perfect for rail station and cricket ground. Nearby supermarket and pleasant riverside walk into town.Hotel room was good. A proper shower (i.e. not climbing into a bath) and the mini-fridge was most useful.
Disliked: Could have done with a light above the desk. That part of the room was very dull and made using the kettle difficult.

A lovely overnight stay.

Liked: Lovely location, easy walkable distance to the town centre, restaurants & bars etc.The hotel itself is very clean, had a very comfy bed & room & the guys we met on reception were both very friendly & helpful. I was a little concerned about the lack of parking beforehand but the station car park is very close & very secure so it really was no problem at all.100% will stay here again, recommended.

Liked: Great staff, central location, no noise from adjoining rooms.
Disliked: Bed rather firm, noisy fridge in room and shower warm not hot.

Excellent location, basic room but...

Liked: Everything was great. Clean and comfortable room with all drinks making facilities. The room had a window with frosted glass so no view as it looked out onto an alleyway. As I was only there for one night it didn’t matter. I’m sure other rooms have views
