Liked: An amazing hotel in beautiful grounds, close to both the town and Lake Windermere with a truly amazing team to look after every need. Excellent attention to detail both in terms of service, customer care and staff interaction. A truly amazing overnight stay and a very special place indeed. We will absolutely look forward to returning.

We were there for our...

Liked: Excellent location for walking into Ambleside or walking to get the boat to Windermere. We had a double delux room and had lots of room. Everything was spotless. The maid had been in and made our bed each morning when we had had breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing. It’s beautiful
