Nice location

Liked: Friendly staff and welcome Good location Nice setting Large roomGin & tonic in the room Good quality toiletriesBath robe and slippers Large clean bathroom but datedLovely spa but not big enough.
Disliked: Dated rooms with musty smell. Door to bedroom let too much light in as uneven. Room above bar was very noisy and kitchen fan going all night. Windows need replacing. Aromatherapy room not working on both occasions. 6pm bin was overflowing and no water cups. Afternoon tea and breakfast was presented well however was lacking. Small choice of continental options.

Wonderful stay, experience and service...

Liked: The hotel is beautiful, the spa is an absolute haven of peace, the hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and we ate dinner on one of our evenings at the hotel. The food was delicious and value for money. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more. We’ll definitely be returning!

Ok but disappointed .

Liked: The area and vicinity is always lovely
Disliked: We have been to this hotel quite a few times always spotless and staff were really good but this time receptionist they had on weren’t very professional , restaurant was very poor , cobwebs in the dining room , dirty tablecloths and just general staff just weren’t very good , hotel very tired and needs tidying up as in painted inside .

Lovely relaxing stay

Liked: Lovely quiet location close to the village . Welcoming friendly staff . Clean ,Comfortable room with a garden view . Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice .
Disliked: All great

nice Hotel with a great...

Liked: Rooms were excellent, temperature just right. Good breakfast and the spa was very good
Disliked: A lovely dinner, fine dining but the portions were too small. We are used to fine dining/tasting menus but these portions were very much smaller than other we have had

Lovely short stay

Liked: Excellent room, nice to have a balcony and great view of the amazing scenery. Access to the spa was a great extra. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: Portions in the restaurant for our evening meal were a little small,especially the scallops starter. Cooked breakfast took a long time to arrive.
