Rossio Plaza Hotel review

Liked: Location,location, location says it all. Hotel is a 1 minute walk to Rossio Plaza where there was a Christmas Market going on....couldn't have been any closer. Close to transit and other locations. Hotel was definitely renovated recently as everything was first rate. Staff spoke English and very helpful. Would have given this hotel more than 5 stars if I could have

Liked: It was incredible amazing! Comfortable bed, good shower. Perfect location. Even curtains were good (it was blackout). I changed hotel after Rossio and it’s not so good.
Disliked: A bit expensive. You can find cheaper

Great location and staff, room...

Liked: Location is fantastic as it’s close to many attractions and great restaurants (and is not located on top of a hill). Grocery store and Rossio metro and train station is also only few minutes away. Bed is comfortable and no carpet. Lobby of hotel is a bit tight but staff is very friendly.
Disliked: It may be specific to our room but there was sporadic but consistent metal clanking/ grinding sound which kept waking me up at night. Could not figure out if it was coming from bathroom or air system or else where. I could have asked for room exchange or complained but chose not to and just tried to use earplugs to sleep.

Liked: Very friendly hospitable staff greeted us as we arrived very late. Clean, tidy room that had everything we needed in a great location with classic quaint balcony overlooking street.

Liked: Fantastic location in the city center. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and, though minimalistic, quite functional. The breakfast was delicious and a good value.
Disliked: There was no lobby or sitting area. One side of the property requires steps to get to the elevator.
