Exceptional service in a super-comfy...
Liked: outstanding stay - in particular the entire front office team were super. best-in-class check-in and out. benefitted from a truly suprise, tet much appreciated upgrade. loved the excellent choice and great service in restaurant, too - love the mixed served and small buffet breakfast. overall service by everyone was anticipatory, casual yet super-professional
Disliked: nothing really, only minor things - aircon controllers that do not go dark fully and illuminate the room at night, slippery hotel slippers

Disliked: I have finally found the opportunity to sit down and express my disappoint and disgust in the Munich location of our beloved hotel Rosewood. As frequent guests of the Rosewood hotels, nothing starting from the amenities to services was up to Rosewood’s standards - and T using “Oktoberfest” weekend as an excuse to all problems is a not such a strategy. So, let me start off by mentioning everything that went wrong. Firstly, the breakfast service took over 35+ minutes just to order! The waitresses messed up the order or request each time bringing either completely different dishes, forgetting about what was, and not paying attention to detail serving pork to a Muslim and cow milk to a person with severe intolerance… The excuse we received was that it was Oktoberfest weekend, well I guess the hotel could either hire additional staff to help out throughout this “tough” time, or limit the amount of guests they were able to accommodate. We felt as if we were staying in Hilton down the road… Moving on, the bathroom amenities in the room were lacking upon our arrival. My request for q tips took 3 phone calls and 36!! I repeat 36!! minutes of waiting time… absolutely ridiculous for a hotel of such standard. To add on, used bathroom amenities were not replaced once during our stay, signifying the hotel expected me to reuse the same cotton pad 500 times? Continuing with the bathroom, we were given dirty bathrobes (photo attached). Not much I can say about this, just absolutely disgusting. The room service arrived cold and overcooked. When we showed the waiter what we received as our schnitzel, he expressed his embarrassed for the hotel. I would also like to add things that usually take Rosewood to the next level - a little welcome letter in the room, a little chocolate, just a hello. None of this was received by us.

Nice hotel but not sure...
Liked: It's a very nice hotel. Lots of modern amenities. I liked the location - easy walking to the things I wanted to visit. The room itself is great!! I only had one meal there, which was ok. The breakfast was 50 euro which seemed expensive so I didn't eat breakfast there.
Disliked: The only negative is that while I was in my room, someone (seemed like a staff member) walked in. They knocked but didn't wait for me to answer the door - just used their key to come in. I don't think they expected me to be there. They didn't speak English so I couldn't really get a good answer as to why they were there - but it was quite discomforting at the time. I typically don't expect staff to just walk into my room like that unless I've opened the door for them. This is an upscale hotel and I expected better.
