Liked: Staff were all lovely, very respectful and answered ally questions. The location was perfect for the Alexandra Palace, 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The shops and local area around was great, there was plenty around for food and entertainment. Transport links were great, multiple bus stops and a 20 minute walk to 2 different underground stations.
Disliked: The room was like a bedsit out of the 70s. The only modern aspect was the bathroom a the tiniest flat screen TV stuck on the wall. Thankfully I have no problem dealing with budget rooms but this was the worst room I've stayed in. The single bed was so bad I spent the next day with back pain.

Ideal Base For Alexandra Palace...

Liked: Friendly, affordable, clean, quiet and just over fifteen minutes walk from Alexandra Palace, the purpose of my visit. Appreciated having an iron, ironing board and hairdryer in my room too. So many places don't offer these things anymore.
Disliked: No complaints at all. Exactly what I was looking for. Would recommend to anyone attending an event at Alexandra Palace.
