Liked: The staff were lovely and super helpful. My booking was last minute as my previously arranged accommodation in the same area was suddenly cancelled which had me scrambling to find some quickly and for a budget rate. I think I paid 50% of the ‘rack rate’ for my room so my perspective needs to be taken in that light. Roseview Alexander Palace Hotel is an old school/ old style budget style hotel. The room I was in was old, worn, cramped and had an unpleasant smell. The ensuite bathroom however was more modern in the amenity but I was still not comfortable having a shower etc. The staff were most friendly and super helpful and I felt safe as a 70+ yo solo female traveller. I believe this hotel is family owned which was nice to learn.

Comfy, Tidy and Well Equipped...

Liked: Very close to local Amenities (Restaurants/Sainsburys etc/Bus Routes).Room was large enough for one person for a night or 2 stay, and liked the mini fridge being in the room.Bed was comfortable and extra pillows available.Power Outlets within Reach.
Disliked: 25 minute walk from the Tube to London, but I knew that when booking.Might be something to consider for other travellers though.No desk or seating space in my particular room, so consider contacting the property for options if needing this.

Would stay again

Liked: Basic and slightly run down but clean and the bed was comfortable. Got a parking space and great value for somewhere close to Ally Pally
Disliked: A bit run down, walls are thin so sound proofing not great.
