Liked: The rate was excellent and the bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: blackout pull down screens for windows would be nice as the morning sun wakes you up too early.

Liked: Location was great, a short walk to the Asilomar facility. I ate good meals at the Monterey Design Conference.

Exceptional

Liked: Perfect place for me. The room was super big, lots of amenities, the location at the entrance of ASILOMAR grounds is perfect for beach access, for those interested in that. I was there for a conference; I had a great stay.
Disliked: There is no breakfast included, but did not expect any, so not really an issue for me. The cushions were a bit big for my taste, that's my only "complaint".

Older place, could use many...

Disliked: Fireplace didn’t work, told staff and they said just give it time to warm up. It never warmed up/came on. Chose this location for my husband’s birthday due to the fireplace and it really ruined our night that it didn’t work.Jet tub didn’t work either.

Liked: Excellent location
Disliked: It looks good from outside artfully build but neglected. We wanted to sit outside but chairs and table awfully dirty and some trash around in contras with beautiful trees and beautiful blooming bushes. Location of property excellent you can go to ocean through Asilomar resort passing pine trees and beautiful sand dunes. Inside unit was clean but rusty refrigerator, braking caulk around tub, peeling wallpapers and falling baseboard next to tub, created unpleasant image. Unit had nice fireplace but everything was so shabby electrical outlets next to bed were so loose I had to charge cellphones next to table.
