Liked: Nothing was too much trouble for Rose & Peter. They gave us great advice on many subjects and it was so easy to come & go as we pleased. It was great talking to other guests at breakfast to get a better idea of what other things we could fill our trip with

Exceptional

Liked: The hosts were amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Lots of tips and information on the city. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and felt very safe. Some good restaurants were a short walk away. A little outside of the hustle and bustle, but only like 15 minutes away from pretty much anything you want to see.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Liked: Friendly staff, comfortable room, accessible parking, nice continental breakfast. Large living room available to guests. Would stay here again.

A warm and comfortable stay...

Liked: The owners and guests made this a great experience. Everyone was friendly, and as a solo traveler, I enjoyed the chance to chat with people throughout my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and both the room and common spaces were filled with character. I plan to come back and make sure to try some of the highly recommended food spots.
Disliked: What I didn’t like was that I couldn’t control the AC. I had a bit of a cold, so the constant cold air wasn’t ideal. I asked for it to be turned off, but it remained on, and I eventually decided to just manage. Thankfully, I started to feel better, and the cool air became less of an issue. I’m sure it would have been welcomed if I’d been feeling 100%.

Liked: Really lovely porch to have breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine. Friendly owners and nice small breakfast that was included.
Disliked: Everything was great, but maybe a motion sensor for the hallway would be better instead of always keeping the light on during the night.

Absolutely one of the cosiest...

Liked: We had the most fantastic stay at Rose Manor. We chose this guest house as we wanted to hear stories about NOLA and get to meet locals as well as other travellersIt was perfect for us immaculately presented extra large room & comfy beds and awesome shower. We were given a substantial breakfast with hot drinks any time of day/night. We had free parking which was a bonus and enjoyed sitting on the terrace just taking it all in There where restaurants close by as the magnificent Lake Pontchartrain is in walking distance possibly 10mins. There are some stores closeby maybe 5 mins walk.We paid anywhere from $19-$30 Uber time of day dependent but this definately outweighed the parking fees.Pete had a mountain of knowledge to share with us and gave us some fantastic recommendations and stories.We would not hesitate to stay here again we had a fabulous time Thank you
