Liked: Staff were friendly & helpful. Nice old building, well maintained. The pub/restaurant nicer than the accommodation which was basic but comfortable. Nice pool which we made good use of as it was very hot when we were there. Nice meals in the outdoor restaurant, the mist sprays very welcome to help keep it a bit cooler. No breakfast options, but nice cafes close by. Good location in the centre of town, close to restaurants etc. Not a good place to stay if you want a good night’s sleep though, it’s right under the flight path & aircraft noise is a problem.
