Extremely clean old timey motel

Liked: The room, although small, was exceptionally clean, and the staff was very friendly. Very, very good value for money.
Disliked: The heat pump was a little louder than what I would have liked.

Would not stay again.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Loud aircon/heater and not just mine but the neighbors as well. Constantly stubbing my toes on the metal guard under the bed. Rando hairs (not mine) still in the darkest shower ever. Didn’t feel safe in the least bit!

Overall, met our needs, but...

Liked: We booked this hotel to be near the Rose Bowl so the location was great. Super friendly check in and helpful staff got us extra pillows with a smile.
Disliked: The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and heater was noisy. I failed to notice no breakfast included but Lola's down the street was delicious.

Liked: Location and friendly staff.
Disliked: The heater in the room was noisy and spewed forth cold air while we sat there freezing. This is why the place got a less than good approval. There was only 1 skinny blanket and 2 flat pillows which made the bed very uncomfortable.

Anywhere else but here

Liked: It was in a good location, quiet and the room was clean.
Disliked: I am not a picky person with hotels. I like to save money. However, at 2:30 AM I woke up because I heard scratching in the walls and the ceiling. It was loud! It sounded like rats. It was super scary. I went to the office to complain and they were dismissive of my concerns and told me I was fine. I had to call booking . Com and get them involved to address my concerns. Then the hotel agreed for me to switch rooms. Which who wants to do at 2:30 AM? Pack up and move? The room I was moved to was quiet and got some sleep. But I still left first thing in the morning. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I cannot imagine if I had my kid with me, I would be livid my concerns were dismissed. There’s a reason why they have a big “No refunds,” sign. They have rats and don’t care about you.

Disliked: I was charged twice and it was $160 when originally was 80$
