Disappointing

Liked: Room was large and clean Bed was very comfortable
Disliked: Having arranged an early arrival there was no-one there to let us in. Apparently the owner was sitting by the pool and did not hear the door or the phone. They did apologise however it meant we had to come away from our wedding in order to check in and get keys.Breakfast not great. Did not see us out.Sadly felt like like we were an inconvenience

2 days of excellent comfort...

Disliked: We stay here every year when attending the battlefield concert. Very friendly .excellent breakfast and beautiful garden . Best value.

Exceptional

Disappointing stay

Liked: The bed was large and the room very tasteful The outlook into the garden was lovely.
Disliked: The bedroom door needs oiling... whenever we moved it, it creaked loudly. We tried to get an earlier check in than 5pm but the host did not respond. When we arrived at 5pm and introduced ourselves there was no response with a name...I had to ask what her name was. When we arrived home after dinner around 10pm there was no sensor light near the front door so it was pitch black and our key would not open the front door. We had to ring the host and wake her up to open the door... certainly not ideal all round. Sadly breakfast was poor...the cereal was stale, the milk warm and overall not up to scratch.
