Beautiful building and welcoming staff

Liked: Beautiful building, great buffet breakfast and Emma was amazing on check-in when we arrived late on a dark showy evening and after long drive.
Disliked: We arrived late and weren't aware that the restaurant was closed for dinner due to the holidays. We would have appreciated that having been very clear to us on booking. But we managed with delivery services.

Liked: We loved the setting and the ambiance of the hotel. Very warm and cosy. The staff were very friendly and caring.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Breakfast, sauna and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Disliked: Black mold in bathroom. Not notified ahead of time of resteraunt closer.

A very special stay in...

Liked: This was the property that we were most looking forward to during our visit to Sweden. We were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, with the separate bathroom and an added bonus of a sauna. We loved the vintage feel and the history of the place. Breakfast was an excellent spread, catering for all tastes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Free parking on site. We spent 3 days exploring the Halle-Hunneberg area. A very special experience.
