Overpriced

Liked: We enjoyed the dinner in the restruant a bit overpriced
Disliked: The price was room only which we felt was ovrpriced If it had included breakfast that would have been okay. The room had seen better days badly in need of a refurbishment ,as are the grounds needing a good tidy up

5 out of ten

Liked: The location and the style
Disliked: The room was very small on the second night no clean towels were replaced dirty glasses weren’t took away from the night before. There was a large dead insect in the base of the shower and wasn’t cleaned away There was a dog left in the room next door and it howled for hours which was very disturbing. The only good thing was the food in the bistro. Compared to our previous stay was perfect in every way. That was our reason for our return.

Passable

Liked: Staff were friendly. Idyllic setting.
Disliked: Room very low ceilings. Shower wasn't clean, shower head in particular. Didn't represent good value for money. Paid the pretty much the same to stay at One Devonshire Gardens a few weeks prior and had a very different experience.
