The room itself was clean although stifling hot even with the windows left open all day, and that was with the radiators off. Ate in the onsite cafe/restaurants and found the food was not of the standard I'd expect from Best Western, although certainly the price. The staff were friendly enough but feel a little more training is needed as they tried to charge me for someone else's room.

A memorable and enjoyable Christmas...

Liked: A wonderful setting directly on the seafront. It was a mild Christmas with wonderful sunrises and sunsets - a walk along the beach on Christmas day was a lovely experience!The breakfast each day offered a variety of options and the staff are very friendly and helpful.The bar is great to sit and relax to unwind, with a great food menu which we sampled once!
Disliked: We were only able to order breakfast from the a la carte on one morning for the whole of our stay, the rest of the time it was a buffet style option which we expected on Christmas and Boxing Day, but not for the remainder of the week.

Very enjoyable and I'd certainly...

Liked: The room was fine with quite a funky L-shaped bathroom. The dining/lounge area was very pleasant and spacious, the cooked breakfast was large and accommodated a gluten free diet, whilst the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: During booking, I informed the hotel that I'd be arriving a bit before the regulation check-in time. As it was the first Sunday after New Year the hotel was very quiet and offering an early check-in would have been a nice gesture.

Liked: Comfortable, spacious room.Breakfast was good. Husband had cooked breakfast. I had cold meats and cheeses. Lovely pastries.Evening meal one night was good. Ate elsewhere with friends other evenings.
Disliked: We stayed 3 nights and you only service rooms every 3rd day. Admittedly one can request extra servicing. Perhaps service every 2nd day would be better.

Excellent stay and location, reasonably...

Liked: All staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable.We ate at the hotel's pub and the food was very good quality and tasty + reasonably priced.Breakfast included a full English as well as pastries and cereals, we found everything nice and fresh.
Disliked: Our bed was small (standard queen size, I think). This is not unusual but it doesn't make it any more comfortable, unless it's single occupancy - it was also attached to the radiator.
