Disliked: I reserved a room at this place on a Tuesday before Hurricane Helene, expecting to need to evacuate. On the day of the reservation, with the hurricane coming that night, we were just about to get in the car when this hotel called and said they had overbooked and would not have a room for us (oh, and he said it's because I booked through Booking.com). We spent the entire day in the car in Alabama calling around to find an available hotel, because all the evacuees had taken them all. Choice Hotels did nothing for us when we called to register a complaint. HORRIBLE PLACE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Liked: We had problems with roaches in the room. I killed several (6) and more escaped. The staff that worked there were pleasant and very helpful. The ice machine did not work and no one was in the office.
Disliked: Have the units treated for roach infestation. Replace or repair defective equipment.

Disliked: False advertising. The floor was filthy. The towels were stained and grey. The curtains were falling apart; they were so rotten. There was no water in the pool. There was no breakfast. Rooms were not as advertised. The price was inflated—the room stank of smoke.
