A waste of 135.00 and...

Liked: The gentlemen at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. Friendly and personally delivered us an extra pillow.
Disliked: The external door from outside to the inside hallway was next to our room. We didnt think anything of it at first. However all night long that door opened and closed loudly. On top of that, the air from that door caused a suction to our door making even more noise each time. Not only did was hear the open and slam shut of the external door, but our door then shook in unison. Around 1:00am the non stop opening and closing of the door finally subsided. It started again around 7:00am. Truly we did not sleep, it was horrible and we just needed a quick overnight stay so chose it for price and convenience. We were exhausted and annoyed. Part of me wanted to ask for my money back, but I felt bad doing so. We would have slept better in our car rather than waste 135.00. It was horrible.

Passable

Liked: Location was convenient. Surprisingly clean for how outdated it looked, so that was a big plus.
Disliked: It needs an overhaul, more than just a new coat of paint. Old carpeting, and bathtub floor was soft (water damage?). It is sad that this is what $150 will get you these days.

Good value

Liked: Whenever I want to go to Minnewaska or Mohonk preserve I like staying here because it is easy to get to from this hotels location.

Everything was great, except coffee...

Liked: I liked everything, except the coffee machine. I was not able to make a cup of coffee in the morning.
Disliked: Coffee machine was not able to make a cap of coffee in the morning. I also did not find a way to make hot water for tea.

Exceptional

Liked: Clean!
Disliked: Maybe toast for breakfast.

Superb

Liked: Close to thruway
Disliked: Wish they had a small breakfast. (Muffins, cereal, bagels ...etc)

not for families looking for...

Liked: was last nearby hotel with vacancy for family getaway to new paltz
Disliked: smelled like a combination of cleaner and whatever was being cleaned. mismatched, garage sale hotel furniture, broken mirror in bathroom, ridiculous mismatched linens and bedspread. like a hotel pieced together with throwaways from 80's hotels. loud, old tech air conditioner. Thin walls, could hear conversations so I guess they could hear us, so the loud air actually helped us sleep. Conveniently located in walking distance of the strip club across the street? in New Paltz? yup.

Big room

Liked: Big room with lots of towels.
Disliked: No kettle in room and the hotel doesn’t provide hot water. You can only “boil” tap water using the coffee maker that you’ll get water with taste of coffee.
