Horrific

Liked: I did not like this place. Although, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, as well as apologetic, the rest of the place was an abomination. It should not be open for business. We were told that the condition of the building was due to "people living here."
Disliked: While the lobby was nicely decorated, the hallway carpets were absolutely filthy. I reserved a disabled room which turned out to be just a regular room with a walk in shower and grab bars in rhe bathroom. The entrance to the room was very narrow and hard to navigate a wheelchair between the sink vanity and the bathroom. The bathroom door was large and opened outward so there was no passage into the sleeping area. I had to ask someone to help me into the bathroom each time because my wheelchair would not fit in this area. Seated in a wheelchair, I was not able to open the room door to get out, again, because this area was too confined. There were no fire alarms in the rooms, just holes and wires where they should be. Same holes in the wall where the TV was connected. We had three rooms for a week and checked out after three nights because the place was swarming with ROACHES. My Niece slept in the car because her room was so infested. I could not recommend this motel. I am now waiting for a refund for the four remaining nights.
