Disliked: It is run down outside & the bathroom towels were small & it only had one towel in a king suite

It was convenient but not...

Liked: The lobby was clean and inviting. The location was convenient for where we needed to be early the next morning and the price was good.
Disliked: The lodging building was old and outdated. The door was heavy and hard to open. Had to carry luggage up the stairs. The room was clean but the furniture was worn and falling apart. The mattress itself smelled old and was lumpy. There was no bed cover, only a sheet and a thin work out blanket so we were cold all night. They had an extension cord plugged into the wall behind the mattress going to the wall light and for use to charge phone. When I grabbed the end of the cord it came unplugged from the wall. When my husband moved the mattress to plug it back in, the wire was bent where the bed wallers the plug around and there was dirty clothing on the floor. There was no remote control for the tv. The ptac (ac) unit did not work right properly. We own a hvac service company. The compressor never came on but yet it must have pulled air from outside (it was down in the 40’s that night) because the room was freezing. And throughout the night I was startled by what sounded like gunfire echoing down the hallway and then a baby crying. I can assume it was room doors slamming shut because the cops never showed up. When I checked in I inquired about coffee in the lobby in the morning because I knew they did not have coffee makers in the rooms. The man said they have it from 6 am to 11 am. When we were checking out at 6:15 I asked where the coffee was because most of the lights in the lobby were off. The man said he hasn’t turned them on yet. We left with no coffee in hand before we got in the road. Side note, make sure you take food, snacks or whatever you need because there are no stores, gas stations nor restaurants nearby especially if you are going east from the motel.
