It worked for the night...

Liked: proximity to our activity in Abbotsfordgreat ice machinehusband said breakfast was decent
Disliked: checking in staff seemed like we were a bother. he had been working on his phone, mumbled at us, found my reservation and handed us a card....no 'normal' verbiage to explain 'internet access (I found it), ice machine (I found it), breakfast hours, pool hours....things we are usually explained, with a smile I might add (he wasn't)no king bed availablechipping paintthe double beds were 'doable', flimsy bed linens and coversthe bathtub/shower was gross....the drain didn't work properly, so water kept backing up in tub, and thenwe noticed debris, hair, 'mold' that had risen out of drain! towels were flimsyhairdryer fell apart in my hand. and the outlet / plug from it was only running if the plugs were 1/2 way out of the outlet.no automatic entry doors into facility - when your hands are full, that is an issuewith the issues I explained (standing in backed up water with hair and debris in tub) and showed pics to the desk attendant in the a.m., I would have expected a rebate / refund / or something back. We travel quite a bit and this is the 1st time there was NO compensation at all offered.

Passable

Stay was fine.

Liked: Breakfast was fine…typical of morning hotel breakfasts. Easy to get to off the Highway. No restaurants appeared to be close by. Vending machines were almost empty.
Disliked: Full vending machines.

Room ok, outdated.

Liked: Location
Disliked: That I messaged them several times and spoke to someone at the counter about departing early because of a family emergency. They said they couldn’t help. I contacted booking.com and they received no response either. A week later still nothing from Rodeway.

Rude

Disliked: Don't pay cash, and be prepared they are rude, they used to have a girl at the desk who was great, just wonderful personality and very helpful. The current staff and horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place at all!

Exceptional

Ok for the price very...

Liked: Location was great was easy to get on and off the exits. Right next to a gas station
Disliked: Bed was not comfortable at all . Staff was ok for the most part.

Adequate place to stay in...

Liked: Good value and nice location
Disliked: Room smelt musty. Breakfast did not include any fruit or proteins.
