Disliked: I didn’t appreciate that some guests were a bit noisy while I was trying to nap, but I understand that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Liked: Location was perfect. Close enough to walk to food locations that had a nice view,
Disliked: The walls a thin. You can hear if there is noise next door (neighbor snored) or outside. The owner will try to handle noise complaints from someone being loud talking. But they don’t investigate. I kept getting a call from them telling us to quiet down…… we kept saying we were sleeping, go investigate because it’s someone else.

Gave away our rooms and...

Liked: We were fully charged 5 days before the day of the reservation, and when checking-in, the receptionist told us she couldn’t find our reservation. I showed her my confirmation number, and once she saw my name and confirmation, she started being rude. I explained I had even received a message from the property saying “we look forward to seeing you.” Anyways we asked if worst came to worst would we be able to rebook to which she responded she had just gave away their last two rooms.. which was funny because we had reserved exactly two rooms. Honestly, I believe she gave our rooms away before we got there and that’s why she was getting defensive. I would never return to this location, and I would definitely not recommend it.

Liked: First time staying here and enjoyed it. Got stuck with car issues in town and the lovely lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful about helping me extend our stay. I loved the bed, I thought it was very comfortable and plush and the pillows as well were nice and soft. Despite being on a main road hotel was reasonably quiet in the evenings. One night a group staying in an adjacent room got rowdy and loud but the office handled it which was appreciated. Nice stay for a nice price and will definitely be back next time we stay in Morro Bay.
