Amazing hostel, would definitely come...

Liked: STAFF! They're so friendly! One of the housekeepers offered to change the bedding and made me feel welcome. The location is perfect as well. There is a huge lounge and a lot of places to sit and socialize. Also, you can find DVD of movies (I think as I didn't watch anything but I saw others did). It's not crowded and I loved that at least some of the rooms had a couple of proper beds (not bunks). That makes rooms not crowded and it's a nice change if you spend quite a bit of time in hostels.
Disliked: It's not that I didn't like but I would advise to have paper towels in the kitchen. Then people would be able to wipe their stuff easily. Also, there were no sockets next to my bed but it's such a small thing as you can charge your phone/laptop/anything in the common areas. The hostel is amazing!

Pretty Good - it's just...

Liked: Nice and central. Friendly atmosphere. Good sized kitchen and food storage. Fridge in the room and space for suitcases etc. Bed was comfortable. Staff on front desk very helpful. 24 hour laundry
Disliked: The place is a bit tired. The bathroom was clean but had a perilous footstool situation that was all a bit weird and unsafe to get in and out of the shower. It was clean just old and well used.

Excellent location and helpful staff.

Liked: Good location and accommodating staff. It’s located just a short walk to Rotorua Tourism and to the city center. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Also near to groceries and just a short walk to bus stops. Staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: They have missing facilities like TV and air-conditioner and the rooms are quite pricey for a hostel with shared bathroom. Also some common facilities are not thoroughly cleaned.
