A great, great stay!

Liked: Sukchan is such a real person. Down to earth, friendly and always makes eye contact when speaking with you. His desire is for you to have the best time possible while at his place. He treats you as if you were the only person there and you are of utmost importance. The room was super clean, the kitchen ware was great, it had an actual vent that goes outside, not recirculated back into the room! Everything is well thought out. He does everything with an eye to future proofing and ensuring that it’s all quality from top to bottom. It shows. The bathroom has great fixtures, the towels are better than I get at hotels that cost double. It’s the little things sometimes.Nothing is run down, dirty or broken. Everything is as new or close.He even had one of his staff get my suitcase from the second floor.I’ve been to so many hotels and motels and Medicine Hat, from budget to high end and nothing comes close to the service, care and quality that I’ve seen with him and Riverside Motel

Liked: Staff was friendly. Room was spacious. There was a full size fridge that was great. The AC worked really well.

Best option to cook, sleep...

Liked: My second time. It’s even better this time around. I have stayed in so many hotels in the area. This place is the best for me. Clean, updated, can cook, quiet and Sukchan is everything everyone says he is. Impossible not to like him. He goes above and beyond for his guests.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was good
Disliked: I worked in Medicine Hat years ago. Our parking lot was beside this motel. It had a very bad reputation and the police were there constantly. I didn't connect the name with the motel when I booked with Booking. The bed covers were dirty. They wanted to give me a room where the smoke alarm needed a battery and chirped every 30 seconds , they did give me a different room. This motel has a bad reputation in Med Hat.Save your money and sleep in your car it's cheaper and cleaner. I don't understand how they have glowing reviews. I am not usually hard to please but that was too much. I slept on the floor as it was cleaner.

Disliked: Update the couch. Lol it works
