A great place to unwind,...

Liked: Beautiful pub hotel right next to the river with amazing views. We had the king room which was lovely, very spacious with a large bathroom, all very clean and comfortable. The only tiny negative I can find is that the bedside lamps need to be replaced or repositioned as they don’t throw any light towards the bed, making reading difficult. Apart from that we found no faults. The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious, particularly the Sunday roasts

Lovely but....

Liked: The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The staff chatty and helpful. Brilliant location.
Disliked: The food was disappointing, triple cooked chips were burnt undercooked wedges, and the warm asparagus salad was Turnip and asparagus. The room was a bit hot.

Liked: The location next to the River, the property was beautiful and the staff and food were amazing. Our room was lovely and comfortable and very clean.

Lovely relaxing stay

Liked: The meals were very good. The location and plenty of parking. Friendly staff. It was very clean and lots of seating areas with lovely views of the river and countryside.
Disliked: There was no shaver socket in the entire room. We were staying 4 nights so hubby went home looking a bit dishevelled. The water supply was different. Took ages to get cold water from the cold water tap into the wash basin as it ran warm for a long time. Just wasting water!

Liked: The room was fabulous and the setting is idyllic. So peaceful, overlooking a river. The staff were excellent, and the bed was comfortable and huge. I would definitely stay here again.
