Location and some historic charm were the only pluses for me.

Liked: Location; on-site restaurants; beautiful old tile floors.
Disliked: Incredibly noisy in the lounge area adjacent to the front desk. Dirty indoor/outdoor carpets in rooms; no safe in room; heavy hallway carpets made rolling suitcases difficult. Renovations appeared to be 20 years old, such as the use of gold-colored fixtures in the bathrooms.

My go to place When...

Liked: If you are interested in staying in the middle of everything , this is the place. Great walking fantastic shops and restaurants and a short walk to the water taxi. Be sure to take the water taxi and see the sites. My only gripe is parking is a bit high.
Disliked: Parking rates

Liked: The location in the best part of downtown Ft Lauderdale and close to the water.

Beautiful place but not when...

Liked: Location employees polite.
Disliked: Wedding going on below me and the music was very disturbing and didn’t get to sleep till after midnight. Totally unacceptable!! Would like to be compensated in some way. Spoke to management and since I booked try booking. Com I have to initiate the complaint. I am initiating the complaint !!!! I’ve done business with you previously and this is my first complaint. Thank you for your time.

Liked: Convenience to all the local shops.
Disliked: Seems like it needs a facelift and your plumbing is not hooked up properly…. meaning bathroom, faucets and showers. Also only one lightbulb was working out of three above the bathroom sink. Need to pay attention to details better.
