The WiFi made my stay...

Liked: Room was comfortable with good air-conditioning.
Disliked: The WiFi in my room did not work for 9 days (or worked intermittently when the TV logged on to a neighboring signal). The lovely handyman John assisted me to get it fixed close to the end of my stay - thank you, John. Also the bathroom smelled of 'smoke' - not sure if it is the air-conditioning in the bathroom.The main mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. Had to sleep on the single instead.

Liked: Location, staff, cleanliness and the breakfast buffet!
Disliked: Bar fridge wasn't very cold in the room

Liked: We love the convenient location just a short stroll from so much that Brisbane has to offer. The staff are very friendly and restaurant food was great
Disliked: The room we had at the back of the hotel was not as good as the room we had previously at the front...lounge bed is not that comfy

Would not recommend this hotel

Liked: Very good breakfast for $20. Close to the city and South Bank, but also super loud at 5:30 because there is an industrial area nearby.
Disliked: Far too loud. Very soft bed and polyester sheets (no cotton). Did not feel like a 4* hotel at all.

Disliked: Showers and screens need a really good clean. Also would prefer a la carte breakfast as only wanted toast and not a full buffet

The rooms are very old...

Disliked: The rooms are very old with an unpleasant lingering odour, cobwebs on the ceiling corners, two bugs crawled out from under the couch and the shower door was broken.
