Pleasant
Liked: The furniture particularly the desk and the sofa bed are substandard really more like a 2 star hotel. The bar is a joke and really just like a Starbucks that sells alcohol. It's over priced and the elevator situation is deplorable. Too crowded forget about going down to the lobby between 8am and 10am.
Disliked: Decor isn't bad in the lobby. The staff are very nice and helpful. The bed was excellent. The bathroom and shower are very good. Towels are very good. Great view from my room.

Liked: Great location and clean facilities.
Disliked: Adjacent parking lot was full upon arrival despite making a reservation and paying ahead of time. Was forced to pay again to park in another garage.

Liked: Location can’t be beat if you’re looking for a home base to do Christmas stuff in Manhattan. It was clean with comfortable bedding and good temperature on an absolutely frigid weekend.
Disliked: The staff are probably grumpy from dealing with too many tourists and were some of the least friendly hotel staff I’ve encountered in years. I actually had someone yell at me for making a wrong turn looking for a restroom. Front desk staff were purely transactional. No explanation where any amenities are. Just pay, sign, move on. Everything is run like an assembly line, but there’s little enforcement to the order. I was regularly cut but people to speak to the front desk or the bell hop and they acted like I was out of line for calling both the guests and staff out on it.There are absolutely not enough elevators to service half the hotel. There are six elevators. Half go from the basement to floor 27 and the other half go above those floors. For the lower half, one elevator wasn’t working at all. Another is regularly used by staff to bring guests who’ve arrived but don’t have rooms yet down to the courtesy restroom. So that one is frequently locked by staff from going above the first floor. So you functionally have one useable elevator servicing 27 floors of guests. I called an elevator trying to get breakfast with my daughter and waited fifteen minutes for it to arrive. Coming back for the night we had another 15 minute wait. When we were checking out the elevator made several stops and no one could get on because it was full. Don’t know how long they would have had to wait. But all of that is to say I shouldn’t be losing 30-45 minutes of my day waiting on elevators. The other side of the hotel seemed fine so if you’re above floor 27 this may not be an issue.
