Liked: Very kind and professional service, many restaurants nearby, as well as the Rideau canal. We did everything on foot, and appreciated everything. We would love to repeat the experience.
Disliked: There wasn't anything not to like, and not just at the B&B, everywhere we went the people were kind, the atmosphere friendly.

Disliked: Easier parking would have made the experience even better.But we were accommodated nonetheless. The room could have used an independent thermostat since the heating system was a bit too warm.

Liked: While the room was small and cozy, it has all the amenities we needed. The space was well equipped with shelves and hooks for towels and toiletries. Our room was on the main floor next to kitchen, dining room and living room. So it felt like home. The continental breakfast was very nice. Located near Elgin Street, we have easy access to restaurants and the important sights. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Many thanks to the gracious hostess!

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: The room and sheets, pillows and towels smelled very strongly of laundry soap. I have allergies. I had to use Kleenex to wipe my hands. The room was nothing special. The shower was near the bed in the same room. Very awkward. No privacy if I'd been with someone else. Or what if the owner had to enter the room? There was no internet after 10pm and after 10am. Plus there was a strange mechanical sound outside my bedroom window every 15 mn.-30 min. The room was way overpriced!!!! On top of that the owner wanted $2 for the continental breakfast. Self serve. Why not include it in the room rate?It was a rip off. Disappointing!
