The room was in great repair and the staff was very pleasant and helpful from check in to check out.

Liked: The hotel had a shuttle running to the event, much appreciated. Staff was polite and helpful all through my stay.
Disliked: My experience was very positive; the staff got me a coffee while I was checking out. Above and beyond.

This was our second stay at the hotel, for concerts at the National. It's a 3 minute or less walk, which is great. The valet and doormen who greeted us upon arrival were super friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was great. Our room, on the 14th floor was very nice, with comfortable beds, upscale linens, and a really excellent air conditioner, which means a lot to me. We walked to a great little English pub (Penny Lane) for a quick dinner before the concert, a five minute walk, good food, great atmosphere. The next morning, we had the breakfast buffet, which was included in the room that I selected, and it featured a chef making omelettes to order, smoked salmon and deli meats and cheeses, fruit, and cereal, and a hot bar with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and cheese crepes. Then we were on our way, and looking forward to our next concert trip! I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't be satisfied with the Richmond Marriott, super nice hotel in every way!

Liked: Comfortable beds; quiet; cool room.
Disliked: Nothing negative.

I felt right at ease as soon as I entered the hotel. Everyone who works there was always waiting to answer questions and direct me to wherever I wanted to go. I was surprised. I was dressed in my "Seether" concert gear and they treated me like any other guest! Will go back to this Marriott hotel next time there is a show at The National

I feel like I should...

Liked: The property was conveniently located next to the convention center.
Disliked: There was a Narcotics Anonymous convention with about a hundred people in the lobby when I checked it. Several men made me and my 13 yo daughter feel uncomfortable. I would have never stayed if I had known about this.

It was convenient to the...

Liked: We liked Starbucks. I liked that I could walk to the Convention Center.We liked the comfort of the bed.
Disliked: Staff including Valets could have been better with directions when asked about stores nearby and directions for highway/city travel.We were not able to get the room warm enough. The thermostat read room temperature 80 but the room was cold. We tried to reset the temp but nothing happened. The snacks near the registration desk were extremely expensive.

Expensive and miss leading.

Liked: Rooms were ok.
Disliked: Not worth price paid. Thermostat kept acting up discovered late at night. No one told me I would have to pay 8.00 to park every time we left for a baseball game. Plus 16.00 for overnight. Valet was an option but last time stuff was stolen. All it states is private parking is available on your site for 41.00. NO mention of all parking paid for. All in all for what I paid, I will never return. Worst experience ever.

My wife and I along...

Liked: The location is great. Plenty of options for food and fun are a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking is easy.
Disliked: There is no breakfast provided. Some furniture and carpet in common areas appeared dingy.
