Total and complete rip off....

Disliked: The hotel is currently going through renovations which makes disruption understandable. I paid extra for the deluxe room. The room had a bed and a desk. That was it. They were both very old and tatty. The decoration was probably older than i am and very tatty. The patio door to the balcony would not close so i had to sleep with it open all night. The balcony was so rotten that when I stepped out on it I jumped back through the door in fear of going through it. The hotel apparently had no towels at all. On checking in I had to wait over 30 mins to see a member of staff. I went down to complain about the place on 2 separate occasions and did not find a single member of staff. There was no coffee machine as advertised, there was no cleaning products as advertised. The room was filthy. Stains on carpets, walls and bed. I slept fully clothed on top of the bed and never took my shoes of while walking around. I think I would probably have come out the shower dirtier than I went in if there were towels available. I will not stay here again and I would not recommend anyone else to either. Being a builder I have stayed in some horrid places over the years. This place is up amongst the worst.
