Superb
Liked: Quiet, great location, comfortable, clean room, balcony, parking. The host was very friendly.
Disliked: Unfortunately, this week at the hotel a group of tourists from China. Around 10:30 p.m., there is still noise in the hallway. Around 11.30 p.m. fire alarm. Probably cigarettes in the room.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! We will be back!
Liked: The staff was wonderful. We interacted with a few members of the Winter family, as well as a server at the restaurant. Everyone was kind and helpful. The rooms were very big, the windows and balconies showed the beautiful surroundings. Two of us are vegan and there were great options at breakfast, as well as a couple options on the dinner menu. We will definitely stay here again.

Not cheap, but, worth it.
Liked: Big, smart, attractive hotel up the hillside if walking. First or last building in the village. Reception is big and bright. The receptionist/waitress/do-it-all is amazing. Friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. Wonderful balcony with two wicker chairs and a table overlooking the wooded valley opposite; sun all afternoon. The room is very big and bright with huge picture window wall with huge sliding door onto that balcony. Good sized comfortable bed, but with two good sized single duvets. A nice bench with a table and two chairs and a desk. Two bedside tables with bedside lighting. Tele. Clothes hanging space with coat hangers. One black & white photo on wall. The shower room is big and shiny and very clean. Very big walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Very good white fluffy towels and lovely shower gel. Downstairs are multiple areas/rooms to dine. A nice seating area around a big round table. Good food, beer and a local gin. Bright and airy. Breakfast (included) is good.
Disliked: The receptionist/waitress/do-it-all cant do it all and there can be long waits and a lot of ringing bells for attention; but, she is brilliant. There was another waitress later in the evening. There is no bar as a focal point; but, there are lots of drinks (somewhere) to choose from. Not cheap, but, good value. The room a bit industrial. Opaque toilet door, but, not visible from the main room. Incredibly long toilet flush; thought Id broken it. The grain in the laminate wooden floor feels like sand; it isnt! The noise from the road below is a real shame because the balcony and view are wonderful.
