Disliked: Internet is slow. The walls are brick so super quiet to stay but makes for a slow internet connection for wifi.

Liked: Disappointed in the lack of accountability. My key was left in door (my oversight 100%). The key was taken by staff annd never told me about it. Upon checkout I was frantically looking for the key. Couldn’t find it. Searched everywhere. Went to front, called out to find staff. No one around. A lady cleaning rooms earlier was seen and didn’t stop me to say anything about the fact they retrieved the key. There was no note in the door or sticky or email sent to say to see front office. They have all my contact info from the booking.When I finally flagged down front desk person all they could focus on was a late checkout that they “gave me”. An 1145am checkout vs 11am. Pretty standard for all the baseball and hockey hotels we’ve stayed at through the years. I asked for late checkout when we checked in and it was like they gave me the world.They apparently didn’t want to wake me when they found the key, but by 1145am, when I was leaving they still hadn’t informed me or attempted to even - they found no need to let me know???And yes, maybe if they didn’t let me know - perhaps a lack of excuses and deflecting saying that they couldn’t put a note anywhere (she made me close the door to show her where she could leave a note and I was able to shove a paper into a gap and besides that they could’ve taped a little message to the door to see the front office asap).This is an important oversight to not let their guests know something like this. Very very disappointing. I’ve been to many small town hotels in Alberta, this was by far the most disappointing and worst experience.

Nice place Good Value Nice...

Liked: Very nice Motel well looked after and not dated. Cinder block walls between rooms so no noise at all. Owner operators are great. This property is clean neat and tidy and there were no issues. Rooms was very clean. Bed was very very comfortable. I woudl recommend this place for anyone.
Disliked: Spotty Internet but this is due to the service provider not the Motel. Ended up tethering off my cell phone. No other complaints.

Liked: Expected way less for the price paid.Far exceeded expectations. Many other hotels/motels charge much higher and are not as clean and comfortable as this one

Pleasant and quiet, some room...

Liked: The motel is located just off the main road through town, is reasonably priced and well maintained. Staff was friendly and the room had everything we needed. There was a good sized TV in the room if that is something you look for.
Disliked: The room had a smell like old residue from cigarettes and there are cans for cigarette butts right outside all the room doors. Great if you smoke, not so great if you don't. As the cans are open and low it can be hard to keep kids fingers out of them.
