Appauling experience. Lack of Humanity....

Liked: Nothing. Should’ve stayed at air bnb rather with this kind of service. For this price I could’ve stayed in the city with air bnb.
Disliked: The reason to choose this type of property to staying in a branded hotel / residence. This is where I now understand the American service standard with such brands compared to rest of the world. Was absolutely appalled by the level of service quality. Our flight got in at 2 am and I had informed the property ahead of time regarding our check in time. The cab dropped us off at the property and realised the lobby is in the 6th floor. As I was travelling with my wife and a two year old, my wife went up to the reception for the check-in process and to see if anyone could help us. My wife holding a sleeping baby was shocked to see a staff who rolled a trolley and gave it to her to push it and take it down to the entry for loading the baggage. But fortunately I had loaded the elevator and taken it up. The night staff instead I come up and present myself even after she showed my passport to start the check in process ( I had also called ahead). I very much understand that there is zero service in American hospitality but this was shocking. A little bit of humility and HUMANITY could’ve helped a women carrying a sleeping child with the trolley. There were two gentle me, one behind the desk and the other wearing a sports jacket just watching the whole thing. The whole stay with just this experience made it very sour. The property is great but people make it hospitable and unfortunately the residence inn gave us and showed us what American Marriott hospitality is.
