very dissappointed in the overall...

Liked: breakfast and location was convenient for my business meeting.
Disliked: the staff was very rude. Had to wait 4 hours for my room and when I asked for an additional hour for late check out, she pulled up my rewards and said if I had been higher ranked as I was ONLY a BASIC member, she could do it. but NOPE. Even after I had been trying to be accommodating for having to wait 4 hours! before I could go to bed! And when we asked for additional blankets, they told us we could come down and get them ourselves. ???? really? and the stopper in the tub didn't work properly. And to top it off, they charged me twice! I kept telling them I had prepaid and showed my receipt, and they charged me anyway! I had to wait until the next day to receive a credit. Idiots! I've never had an experience like this at a Marriott and my sister was with me and she is aa life partner with Marriott and she was appalled. I asked for a discount, nope, credit of points, nope, to be put up in another hotel since we had checked back 4 times since 3 pm and NOPE! We didn't get our room until after 9pm.

Liked: The room was beautiful! We had a view of the casinos and were within walking distance of the boardwalk. The beds were very comfortable and the room was equipped with everything we could have needed.

Liked: This was our first time in Shreveport. The property is located near everything we needed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great.

Disliked: I had people hollering and drinking outside of my room window at 2:00 an and when I call the front desk to ask them to stop so we could sleep, the guy was so rude and said he couldn’t do anything about it, he was too busy! It made me very upset after spending $200 for sleep.
