Liked: I stayed at the Fairfield a month ago and it was awful. I had stayed at the Residence once before and decide to stay here this weekend. We were not disappointed. Perfect location, clean and upscale.
Disliked: The mattress on the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable according to our 17 year old son.

Liked: The location was great. Though we didn't use them, the amenities were good. The hotel offered many convenient things to do.
Disliked: I was very disappointed with the bed, it was not very uncomfortable. The worst part of our stay was the shower. Its a walk in shower that doesn't have a high edge around it. The water did not go down the drain. I had to turn the water off mid shower so the water wouldn't overflow, which didn't help much. My boyfriend, who traveled from Virginia so we could celebrate his birthday, wasn't even able to shower before heading back. We waited for a while to see if the water would go down, but it didn't and the staff were banging on our door because of check out. We made the staff aware of the issue to which one person said there's nothing they can do because maintenance doesn't come in till 11. When I mentioned it at the front desk, I was told they will let maintenance know. Not once were we offered an alternative. They could've allowed my boyfriend to shower in another room or provided a discount for the inconvenience. I've stayed at many Residence Inns and have never had issues. This place is basically new and shouldn't have these issues.

Not my best Marriot experience

Liked: Property located in a good location. Close to restaurants, stores, and the city.
Disliked: Lack of linens. There was no bedding available for pull out bed. I had a family group of four and was only given two towels. And when I asked for more I was told there were no towels. Also, there were no towels at the pool side. By that time I was not surprised. Breakfast options were minimal.
