Disappointing

Liked: Staff was pleasant and its in a good location
Disliked: Unfortunately the the heater in our room intermittently made a very loud knocking noise to the point we just turned it off and requested extra blankets. The hot tub was broken and the bathroom had hair stucked to the door and 2 of the nights we had no hot water, and there was also a nasty stain on the livinroom carpet. Screaming child in the next room also made our stay unpleasant which i understand is not there fault. As a BOnvoy member this was by far our worse experience.

Glad we chose Residence Inn.

Liked: Very friendly staff and when I had to get the room service because I had a procedure coming up at Stanford they were excellent with cleaning the room and making sure I had new bed sheets and towels.

Pleasant

Liked: The room (rather studio) are rather large, cozy.Particularly appreciated is the supply of amenities (coffee, towels, pillows, dish soap etc.).Shops and restaurants are quite close, even walking distance.
Disliked: Some appliances (air conditioning, refrigerator) are quite loud, especially at night. It was not super easy to set the right temperature in the room.Dynamic pricing is quite excessive. When the price is low (ca. 140 USD night) it is a fair price for the value, but when it reaches 400+ USD a night, this is way too much.Would appreciate more variety for breakfast.
