Liked: The property was clean and the staff was friendly.
Disliked: The pool was closed, which was the full reason I chose to stay 2 nights (so my family could swim throughout the entire day in between checking in and checking out).

good option for hamden area...

Liked: location is good if you need to be in Hamden. room is large. parking is free.
Disliked: only a year and a half old but already showing some wear. missing towel bar in bathroom, toilet flusher paint worn off, no full length mirror and it's an extended stay hotel. breakfast was disappointing for a residence inn. no yoga mats available for in room workouts even with rooms being so large. a few thick flat mats in the fitness center. no coffee maker filter basket, so checked dishwasher for it & when i went to open dishwasher door, full dishwasher pulled out from under the counter...so maybe don't use the dishwasher... did not deliver on any Bonvoy amenities. hotel does not read/respond to messages via the booking app messaging tool. front entrance isn't very clear upon entry into parking lot.
